Working for a World Without Poverty

Entrepreneurship catalyzes poverty reduction, with community support and social networks as essential pillars for sustainable impact.

We help people around the world break free from cycles of poverty and dependence and become self-sustaining through practical skills training, entrepreneurial resources, and personal restoration.

Empowering Lasting Change

Through Skills and Business Development, Impact Nations empowers some of the world’s most vulnerable individuals to achieve lasting independence. By providing practical skills training, personal restoration, and entrepreneurial resources, we’re helping people around the world break free from cycles of poverty and dependence.

Since 2008, we’ve equipped over 5,000 individuals—including pregnant teens on Uganda’s streets, former gang members, girls at risk of trafficking, and single mothers in Nepal—with the tools to transform their futures. Together, we bring hope to the hopeless.

Our Skills and Business Development programs follow three life-changing stages

Rescue

At Impact Nations, “rescue” means freedom from terrifying circumstances, meeting urgent needs and creating safe, compassionate spaces where people can begin to envision a new future.

Our community engagement programs provide opportunities to intervene on behalf of the abused and abandoned.

We are rescuing women and children from dangerous situations such as human trafficking, teen pregnancy, slavery, and gang violence, helping them rediscover their God-given dreams.

Restore

Most of our students come to us with limited education, and many have not learned to read or write.

Our curriculum is designed to give them confidence and marketable skills, empowering them to support themselves and their families. Our practical skills programs cover areas like hairdressing, web development, catering, and more.

In partnership with Alternativ, we integrate essential business training specifically tailored to individuals with limited literacy in the developing world. Through this curriculum, students learn principles like market research, personal savings, and budgeting.

Reimagine

Graduates of our program leave ready to thrive. Many have already launched successful small businesses before they graduate. Others receive a small loan to help launch a business of their own, equipped with a business plan they’ve developed during training.

Everyone enters the job market with the confidence and expertise to succeed, often leveraging internships and job placement opportunities offered through our programs.

Whether launching their own businesses, finding employment, or continuing their education, graduates receive ongoing coaching and encouragement. Through this journey, stories of desperation are transformed into stories of inspiration.
