Rambati's Story

Rambati, a 35-year-old mother, lives with her husband and two children. While fleeing the flood, her husband suffered a fractured leg, leaving him unable to work. Although their home was partially damaged, including the kitchen area, they were relieved to find it still habitable when they returned. However, there was no food left.

When our team encountered Rambati and her family, we provided them with a food pack to sustain them for three to four weeks—enough time for her husband to heal and return to work. Additionally, their children were given school supplies to replace those lost in the flood, ensuring they could continue their education without disruption.

Beyond meeting their immediate needs, the team had the privilege of praying with Rambati’s family and connecting them to a local church. This church will provide ongoing support, including food assistance if needed, as they recover and rebuild their lives.
